“In our post of May 14, we indicated that IRRC Institute was affiliated with RiskMetrics, which was not correct. When ISS (now RiskMetrics) bought IRRC, the proceeds helped create a new non-profit, the IRRC Institute. As part of the sale considerations, RiskMetrics provides office space to the Institute, but has no management, governance, oversight or any other role. The Institute is totally independent.”
