Michael W. Mayhew
Chairman, Founder, Global Director of Research
Mike is one of the leading experts on the investment research industry. In addition to founding Integrity Research, Mike is on the board of directors of Investorside Research Association, the non-profit trade association for the independent research industry, and a frequent speaker on research industry trends and developments.
Mike has over twenty five years of research industry experience. He started the predecessor to Integrity Research, a financial services consulting firm, in 2000 and formed Integrity Research in 2003. Prior to Integrity, Mike was CEO and President of Garban Information Systems, a provider of fixed income, money market and foreign exchange analytics; Managing Director, Research, for Maria Fiorini Ramirez Inc., an economic research firm; and head of strategic planning for Standard & Poor’s. He started his career with MMS International, a fixed income research provider, where he was a financial market analyst, sales manager, and product manager.
In addition to being a frequent speaker on research topics, Mike is quoted widely in news sources, including Reuters, Institutional Investor, Bloomberg, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times, and Business Week. Mike graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University in 1981.
CEO and President
Sandy joined Integrity Research in September 2006, and serves as President and CEO. He has over 28 years of experience in the research industry. Prior to joining Integrity, he worked with private equity firms to acquire research firms and information properties. Sandy spent much of his career at Standard & Poor’s where he was Executive Managing Director responsible for S&P’s equity research business. Sandy first joined Standard & Poor’s as a Managing Director in its bond ratings division where he was responsible for new product development and institutional sales, marketing S&P’s ratings capabilities to asset managers. He started his career at Data Resources Inc., an economics research provider, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and product development.
Sandy is a member of the Consulting Advisory Board for Youth I.N.C., a youth-oriented venture philanthropy and is co-chair, Friends of the Children New York, providing early intervention mentoring for at risk children. Sandy has an MBA from New York University and BA from Williams College.
SVP, Research Provider Relations
Tom joined Integrity Research in 2003 and manages Integrity’s relationships with research providers. He has over 24 years of analytic experience. Prior to joining Integrity, Tom was Vice President and Financial Analyst with Market Data Corporation, a fixed income analytics provider. Tom was Director of Capital Market Research at MMS International, a fixed income research provider and worked as a financial economist and senior analyst at Toronto Dominion Bank. He began his career at the United Nations in Vienna as a consultant to UNIDO. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Polytechnic University, teaching graduate courses in the Financial Engineering degree program. Tom graduated from McMaster University with a Masters in Economics in 1983.
VP, Sales
Matthew Bannister comes to Integrity Research with a background in sales, research, and trading. Prior to joining our firm he worked for GS Energy, LLC where he actively traded and researched the crude oil and energy markets. He also worked as a sales executive for Bloomberg LP, where he was the lead relationship manager between Bloomberg and Bank of America, and managed over 200 hedge fund accounts. He has extensive experience in financial information services and providing solutions to the investment community. He graduated with honors from Northeastern University with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing.
Prior to joining Integrity Research, Ronit worked as a research analyst for the Economic Policy Research Institute in Cape Town, South Africa, where he helped to model the economics of AIDS treatment and drafted policy recommendations on welfare systems; he also worked as a project manager for Williams Instructional Technology, where he developed software and web application to assist teaching and scientific research. Ronit graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics.
Nathan joins the Integrity team from Greenwich Associates, where he was a Senior Research Associate for their commercial banking team. At Greenwich, Nathan worked closely on all aspects of their Middle Market and Small Business Banking studies. He graduated with a B.A. in History from Duke University, where he was an All-American fencer in his senior year.
Trained as a lawyer, Ana was an investigator researching financing for paramilitary groups for the Ministry of Finance in Bogotá, Colombia before moving to the U.S. In New York City she was a research analyst for the Coalition for the International Criminal Court, the International Service for Human Rights and PCI-Media Impact, as well as a research assistant at the Instituto Cervantes Library and the NYU Bobst Library. She has a Masters degree from New York University in Journalism and Latin American Studies and a law degree from Universidad de los Andes.
Prior to joining Integrity Research, as a recipient of the Gaudino Fellowship, Ashley studied the socioeconomic future post-Apartheid for youth in Kayelitsha, South Africa. She also worked in film/TV production at the Weinstein Company and taught English as a second language in Granada, Spain. Ashley graduated with honors from Williams College with a B.A. in History.
Data Operations Manager
Amy Campbell joined Integrity Research in July 2008 and manages data operations in the Des Moines, IA office. Prior to joining our firm Amy worked for Standard and Poor’s for over a decade as a Manager within S&P’s data banking operations. She was responsible for the data collection, maintenance, classification and quality control of S&P’s US Fund Data. She graduated from the American Institute of Business in 1994 with a degree in Business Administration.
Data Analyst
Michelle joins the Integrity team with a B.A. in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from Grandview College. She was previously with ING as a commissions coordinator working in direct contact with agents. She communicated directly with the sales desk and brokers with commission related concerns and assisted with reconciliations.
