The Investorside Research Association, the U.S. trade association for independent research providers, is hosting its annual meeting focusing on the latest issues, opportunities and trends impacting the independent research industry (agenda below).  The agenda includes post-election commentary from Greg Valliere, Chief Political Strategist at Potomac Research.

Industries across the board, from healthcare to news media and publishing, are experiencing significant and often game-changing shifts in information capture, construction, and exchange. At the core, and prompting this change to a large degree, is a likewise and meaningful change in consumer behavior – notably from a device and channel content exchange perspective. Financial services and specifically investment research information reporting is certainly not immune.
