This week’s webinar on the 2021 Global Macro Outlook scheduled for Wednesday, December 13th at 11:00 am ET, will feature three highly experienced analysts and strategists from independent macro research firms (see their bios below) to discuss their views on how the global macro outlook is changing the prospects for various assets, investment strategies, and regions. Vincent Deluard, CFA is the global macro strategist for StoneX, where he authors weekly research reports on global macro trends, flows, European capital markets and quantitative topics. Mr. Deluard advises large pension funds and other institutional investors on asset allocation and risk management. Prior to joining StoneX., Vincent served as the Europe Strategist for Ned Davis Research Group. In November 2013, Vincent was awarded the Euromoney Padraic Fallon Editorial Prize for his in-depth study of the investment opportunities offered by the European debt crisis. Prior to joining Ned Davis Research, Vincent was the Executive Vice President of TrimTabs Investment Research, where he headed the firm’s quantitative research. Vincent is an adjunct professor of finance for Saint Mary’s College Master’s in Finance and taught at Golden Gate University’s Executive MBA program. Vincent is a CFA charterholder, and he completed a dual master’s degree at Sciences-Po Paris (Cum Laude) and Columbia University. Vincent speaks English, French, Italian, and Indonesian.
Christophe Ollari is the founder of Ollari Consulting. From over twenty years working at banks and hedge funds, Ollari has developed a trading style that seeks to fuse together the best of technical and momentum strategies with a strong grasp of the prevailing macro currents. Starting his finance career in the early 90s at Lehman Brothers, Christophe has worked as a macro trader and prop trader. Ollari’s philosophy involves absolute humility in front of the market and to price action, a strictest approach, a strong focus on capital preservation, and the ability to think outside of the box.
Peter Perkins is a founding partner of investment strategy firm MRB Partners. Peter has extensive experience, both as a strategist and economist, and he focuses on asset allocation issues and strategy, key drivers of the global economy and capital markets, as well as investment opportunities and risks. Perkins works closely with MRB clients on tactical and strategic asset allocation, assisting them in interpreting and translating macroeconomic and policy factors into a tailored investment strategy. Mr. Perkins speaks widely at conferences, seminars and client meetings and regularly participates in investment committee meetings for select investment management firms. Prior to forming MRB, Peter was Managing Editor at BCA Research Inc., focusing on tactical asset allocation and supporting major clients. Mr. Perkins has a Master of Economics from Pennsylvania State University and B.A in Economics from the University of Maryland.
